The Carers Association Southern Staffordshire has been working for carers throughout the districts of Stafford, Cannock Chase, Lichfield, Tamworth, South Staffs and East Staffs since 1996.

It now provides a service to almost 5,000 adult carers and 450 young carers. CASS offers free and confidential advice, information and emotional support to individual carers either on the telephone, through home visits, and through publications, a website and newsletters. There are drop-ins and a regular programme of activities for carers, that promote their physical and emotional wellbeing and offer opportunities to learn new skills, as well as specialist services for young carers, mental health carers and carers of people with dementia.
